Dan Jones, AACI, P.App., RI., is the President and CEO, Managing Director and Supervisor of Appraisal Services for Campbell & Pound Appraisals and Campbell & Pound Commercial Ltd., since December 1986.

Dan has been in the Real Estate Appraisal & Consulting Profession in the Vancouver region since 1973. He is a graduate of the Langara Campus Realty Appraisal Certificate Program in 1974 and the Urban Land Economics program at UBC in 1978. His experience includes valuation of complex industrial, commercial and investment portfolios, and expert witness testimony before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and Canada. Dan is also an experienced Reserve Fund Planner and designated member of the Real Estate Institute of Canada. Dan is an active sales and agent/Nominee member of the Vancouver Real Estate Board and Fraser Valley Real Estate Board. Dan is also an active member of the Mortgage Brokers Association of B.C., the Mortgage Investment Association of B.C., the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals, and the Urban Development Institute –Pacific Region.

Dan is a professional, accredited member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He has been a member in good standing of the Appraisal Institute of Canada since 1973, celebrating his 40th year. He is also a professionally designated member of the Real Estate Institute of B.C., possessing the RI designation. He has been a member in good standing since 1978. Dan currently sits on the Vancouver Chapter of the Real Estate Institute of B.C. He sat as a Provincial Governor (2004-2006) and Chaired the Chapter (1999-2004). Dan also sat as a Provincial Board of Director (B.C.) of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, representing Vancouver from 2002 to 2013 and has recently been elected to the National Board of Directors representing B.C. in Ottawa (2013-2015).

His clients include: major Canadian financial institutions; brokers; developers; lawyers; accountants; various governmental institutions; property managers, and private individuals.
