Dan is the President, CEO, and Managing Director of Campbell & Pound. His depth of knowledge and expertise comes from being involved in the Real Estate Appraisal & Consulting Profession since 1973. Since then, he has been a professional, accredited member in good standing of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) and has been with Campbell & Pound since 1986. Dan’s experience includes the valuation of complex Industrial, Commercial and Investment portfolios and expert witness testimony before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and Canada. Holding the professional Certified Reserve Planner designation from the Real Estate Institute of Canada and the RI designation from the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia, he also conducts comprehensive reserve fund studies and depreciation reports for strata properties throughout BC. His passion for all things real estate extends to his community involvement. Dan is an active agent/nominee member of both the Vancouver and Fraser Valley Real Estate Boards, the Mortgage Brokers Association of BC, the Mortgage Investment Association of BC, and the Urban Development Institute (Pacific Region). He was the past Chair and Governor (2004-2006) on the Provincial Board of Directors of the Appraisal Institute of Canada – British Columbia, and currently sits as one of their Vancouver representatives. From 2006-2007, Dan sat as the Provincial President of the AIC. Dan has also been the Director of the Vancouver Chapter for the Real Estate Institute of BC from 1996 until the present day. His clients include major Canadian financial institutions, brokers, developers, lawyers, accountants, various governmental institutions, property managers, and private individuals.
